Raw chocolate "cheesecake"

This is absolutely my favourite cake! This smooth and rich cake will impress anyone. Made with raw cacao, which is a superfood, unprocessd and packed with nutrients. This is a great treat if you want to avoid those processed white sugary chocolate. One slice will give you that mood boosting chocolate fix without spiking your bloodsugar levels, you will feel energized instead.

For the recipe:


1 cup almond

1/2 cup raw cacao powder

3 tbsp maple syrup

3 tbsp desicated coconut

1 tsp real vanilla pod



2 ripe avocado

1/2 ripe banana

20 dates (soaked overnight)

3/4- 1 cup raw cacao

3 tbsp coconut butter

1 can of coconut cream (leave the can in the fridge overnight, only use the thick part of the cream in the recipe)

1/2 tsp real vanilla pod

1 pinch of salt


1. Place all the crust ingredients in the food processor and blitz until fully combined. I like when the nuts are not fully processed, I like the crunch!

2. Press the ingredients into a bottom of a adjustable cake pan.

3. Make the filling. Place all the ingredients in the food processor and blitz it for few minutes until fully combined and smooth, thick and creamy. If its too watery, add more coconut butter. 

4. Pour onto your crust and let it set overnight in the freezer ( this lets it set and develop flavour ). Put it in the fridge at least 4 hours before serving.
